Sandra Ann Barfield Sanders, 70, passed away shortly before 7:00 A.M., on Monday, June 21, 2021. She died as a result of the injuries she received on February 5, 2021, when she was run over in the crosswalk of 17th and main Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sandra was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to William Dow Barfield and Ida Mae Smith Barfield.
She spent her entire adult life in Little Rock. She lived at 18th and Broadway Street and enjoyed spending her time outdoors viewing the beautiful gardens around the historic areas near her home.
Survivors: son, Jonathan McKenzie of Little Rock, AR; sisters, Cynthia Barfield Fortner of TN and Nancy Barfield of NH.
There is no memorial service planned at this time.
