Betty Jean (Stovall) Neal, 88, of Indianapolis went home to be with Jesus June 20, 2021. She was born February 25, 1933 in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late Garfield and Beatrice (Jackson) Stovall.

Betty married Chester Neal on December 24, 1948 and were together for 68 years prior to his passing in 2017. Betty was a school bus driver for Perry Township for 20 years before retiring. She loved her Lord and spent many years as a Sunday school teacher and volunteering with her church. She was most recently a member of Villa Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Above all, Betty loved her family and spending time with them. She had a big heart with a way of making a positive impact in others' lives. Betty will be dearly missed.

Betty is survived by her children, Stan (Margaret) Neal, Timothy (Linda) Neal, Sarah Taylor, and Melinda Fellmeth; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Denton and Monty Stovall; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Chester, Betty was preceded in death by six siblings.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. June 23, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Entombment at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
