William Barnett, 67, of Twin Bluffs, died Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Richland Hospital. He was born on February 22, 1954, the son of Charles and Mary (Soltwedel) Barnett. Bill was raised on the family farm. He later built a custom home on a piece of the family farm where he lived most of his life. He attended Richland Center High School, where he wrestled and graduated in 1972. He worked building silos and pole buildings before going into a partnership with Jim Brewer, forming Barnett and Brewer Construction. The two did general construction of homes and buildings around Richland County for over 30 years. Bill was united in marriage to Audrey Oliver on February 14, 1989. The couple raised their daughter Jodi. Bill and Audrey have four adoring granddaughters who loved their 'Papa'. He would do anything the girls asked and he loved every moment. Bill loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and his manicured lawn. Bill was a soft-spoken, kind, selfless man and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. Some of Bill's favorite moments were sitting on his back deck in his lawn chair enjoying the outdoors and planning more projects.

Bill Oliver of Viola, Harlan (Debbie) Oliver of Janesville, Gerald (Linda) Oliver of Readstown, Hugh (Pat) Oliver of Viola, David Oliver of Viola,
Brenda (Brian) Ewing of Readstown; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his father Charles, brother Tom, brothers-in-law Dennis Stimart and Donald White, Frank Sittig, sisters-in-law Carol Oliver, Georgia White, and in-laws: Corinne and Harold Oliver.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sextonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until the time of the mass at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
