She was born on January 8, 1934 in Hampton.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Norman Loveless; her parents, Clyde Black Lyon and Nell Kimbrough-Jones-Lyon; her sister, Jeannine Nutt; her son-in-law, Danny Newton.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim Carlock and husband Jeff of Hampton and Lisa Newton of Hampton; one sister, Mary Ann Becton of Hampton; her grandchildren: John Robert Carlock, Brent Newton (Shayna), Ashley Davis (Paul), and Jenni Nutt (Grant); and seven great grandchildren.
The graveside services will be held at Pickett Cemetery near Hampton.
