Rose Marie Alexander, age 83 of Long Beach passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home in Long Beach.

She was born October 14, 1937 in Harrison County, MS. the daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Ford. She was a graduate of Pass Christian High School. She retired after twenty years as a cashier at McCrory's in Gulfport. She enjoyed playing cards and reading her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Arthur Alexander; and a daughter, Cynthia Ervin.

Rose is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Alexander Chappell; grandchildren, William Rotunno, Elizabeth Chappell, John Grego II, Katie Baker, Christa Ervin, and Matthew Wood; great-grandchildren, Kylie Ervin, Kyshja Maurice, Delayshja Dedeaux, and Deslyn Dedeaux; sisters, Barbara Farrell, Lola Sharma, and Jane Ford.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. The graveside will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
