Mr. Allison passed away on Tuesday, June 15, in his home, just days from his 91st
birthday. James was born June 23, 1930 in Sherman, Texas, to James M. Allison, Sr. and Lula Victoria (Williams) Allison.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Doris "Jeanette"
(McAllister) Allison; his parents; brother, Robert Ferris Allison; and son, James
Millard Allison III.

James is survived by his daughter, Linda Allison Little and husband Barrett of
Sherman; son, Larry Allison and wife Debora of Sherman; daughter-in-law,
Veronica Allison of Lancaster, Kentucky, six grandchildren, Clint Little and wife
Betty, Alison Little, Joseph Allison and wife Heidi, Rose Baker and husband Derek,
Aaron Preston and husband Justin, and Ashley Short and husband David; and
seventeen great grandchildren.

James was an active member at of Central Christian Church for over fifty years
where he faithfully served as a deacon.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life and life everlasting of James
Millard Allison at his home at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Central Christian Church.
