Patricia Dawn Riley, formerly of Mercersburg, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 in Waynesboro, PA.
Born August 21, 1932 in Chambersburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late James and Viola Watson Coleman.
Patricia graduated from Mercersburg High School and raised 4 children. She enjoyed spending time with her family the most. Patricia was a member of Bethel Ame Church in Mercersburg.
Patricia is survived by her children, John Filkill, Jennifer Riley, and Veronica Jenkins all of Chambersburg, 3 grandchildren, Monica Filkill, Andrea (Jeremy) Pyles, Lucas Riley, and 2 great-grandchildren, Grayson and Hudson Pyles. Surviving siblings include Betty Thomas, Gloria Coleman, Edith Day, Ronald Coleman Jr. Gary Coleman, Pastor Duane Coleman, and brother-in-law, Mike Riley. She is also survived by nieces Joyce and Lisa Riley, and nephew Robert Riley, and many great nieces and nephews.
Patricia is preceded in death by her son, Nick Filkill, a daughter-in-law, Wanda Filkill, and siblings: Tony, Emogene Riley, Leona Palmer, Donna Nealey, and Richard Coleman.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM on Wednesday June 23, 2021 at Zion Union Cemetery, Mercersburg, PA with Reverend Berry officiating.
