Leslie married Cathy Simmons April 15, 1977 in Gainesville, Texas. He was employed by Pillsbury Mill for 10 years before taking a position with Key Energy where he worked as a salesman for 28 years before retiring. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Enid.
Leslie is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hazel Sanders; a son, Christopher T. Sanders; and an aunt, Ruth McCandle. He is survived by his wife Cathy, of the home in Fairmont; six children, Connie Dotson and her husband Wes, of Enid; Terry Feely of Waukomis, OK; Curtis Sanders and wife Tammy, of Greenwood, MO; Felicia Bozworth, of Fairmont, OK; Shayne Stanford and wife Jarree, of Enid; Minka Betchan and husband Jay, of Covington, OK; two sisters, Sharon Unruh and husband Jim, and Donna Braeggemann and husband Geoff, both of Enid; thirteen grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends.
