She married Ora Edwards on February 14, 1954 at Zion Lutheran Church; he survives.
Dorothy had worked in the dietary department at St. Ann's Nursery Home in Chester for several years.
Dorothy was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Evansville. Dorothy enjoyed quilting and playing bingo.
