Gaffney, SC - - Ralph Leon Harris, 98, of 619 Gowdeysville Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Inman Harris and son of the late M. Boston "M.B." Harris and Essie Mae Proctor Harris. He retired from Duke Power and farming, a U. S. Army Air Force veteran, a life-time Mason and an avid Carolina Gamecocks fan. He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Beverly Norton of Gaffney and Lauren Cantrell of Swansea; five grandchildren, John David Harris (Jamie), Stephanie Luten (Joey), Jessica Norton, Michael Norton and William Cantrell; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Harris and Tucker Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steve Harris, two brothers, Raymond M. Harris and Glenn B. Harris and two sisters, Daisy H. Bridges and Ruby H. Roberts and sons-in-law, Jeff Norton and David Cantrell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Reverend Ralph Brown officiating. Interment, with Masonic Rites, will be in the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the committal service in the Church's Family Life Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Rehoboth Baptist Church, "Cemetery Fund", 110 Rehoboth Road, Gaffney, SC 29340.

The family will be at the residence.
