Samuel McAfee Davis, 33, a Manager at Abe's Barbeque, died June 18, 2021, at his home. Visitation is Monday, June 21, 2021, 1-2 pm at St Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Monday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Private graveside services, family only, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Samuel was fun, loving, never met a stranger, and had a powerful private relationship with God. Samuel loved to surround himself with friends and family and was the first person to cook a large amazing meal. Along with his intense love for family and friends he had a variety of other loves-the Steelers, the blues, hunting, and lake life. Samuel lived his life to the fullest; something we should all strive to do. He was a member of St Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Survivors include Parents Linwood "Bo" Brown, III (Beverly)of Olive Branch, MS and Debra Davis Malouf (John) of Greenwood, MS. 2 sisters Hailey and Hannah Brown of Olive Branch, MS. Maternal Grandparents Pat and Lida McAfee Davis of Clarksdale, MS, Paternal Grandmother Josephine Ferri Brown of Cleveland, MS. Many aunts uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by Paternal Grandfather Linwood Lloyd Brown, Jr, Aunt Leigh Brown Janoush, Uncle Andrew Westerfield, and Uncle Clint Davis.
