James Harold Ballard, of Sharpsburg, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020. He was an 83 year old born in Menifee County to the union of the late Claude and Pearlie Golden White, and member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by 5 sons, Gary (Barbara) Ballard of Owingsville, Steve (Janet) Ballard of Sharpsburg, James Harold Jr. (Sharon) Ballard of Owingsville, Rodney (Shannon) Mitchell of Mt. Sterling, and Doug Mitchell of Owingsville, 2 daughters, Shelia Ballard of Owingsville and Dottie (Walter) Hite of Heritage, Tennessee, 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Annie Jenkins of Paris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 granddaughters and 3 sisters.
His funeral will be 1:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Brother Dean Willoughby presiding, with burial in Williams Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Sunday.
