Robert Kennedy Hammond, 85, of Americus, formerly of Terrell County, passed away at Magnolia Manor on June 17, 2021. A funeral service is planned for Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the graveside in Parrott City Cemetery. Rev. Charlie Bridges will officiate.
Bobby retired as Executive Vice President from the Bank of Terrell after thirty-four years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and looking for arrowheads. Preceding him in death were his parents, Glenn R. and Juanita Hammond and his wife, Virginia W. Hammond. Survivors include his children, Bob Hammond and Dee Foster (Michael); sisters, JoAnne Askew and Juanita Bridges; brother, Gerald Hammond; and grandchildren, Little Bob Hammond, Don Foster (Mandy) and Jacob Foster (Lindsey).
