William David Kidd, age 77, US Army Veteran of WWII, late of Whiting (Robertsdale), formerly of St. Albans, WV, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2004. Dave passed six short months after his wife Maxine passed on. He let his own health crumble while nursing his wife.
Cherished husband of late Maxine F. (nee Hudnall), beloved father of Lonnie (Dean) Rosenquist of Whiting and Michael David (Libby nee Durochick) Kidd of St. Albans, WV, loving brother Farris of St. Albans, WV, Buford (Loretta) of Alabama, and Imogene Rodreguez of Delaware, dearest grandfather of Eric (Melissa) Bishop of Knoxville, TN, Kenneth Kidd of Ashville, NC and Christopher (Jennifer) Kidd of Sissonville, WV, devoted Great-grandfather of Rowan and Arlo.
He was retired from Inland Steel and he enjoyed watching and playing golf. In his spare time he could be seen riding his bike around town and on the lakefront. Dave and Maxine liked to travel to visit family and friends and going to Myrde Beach and they knew all the malls. David was a great person as was Maxine. They both will be missed.
Funeral Services entrusted to the Ruzich Funeral Home and Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
