Robert Sterling "Bob" Kitts-age 62 of Knoxville, born September 1, 1958 spread his wings and headed for home Wednesday, June 16, 2021 to join his Heavenly family. Bob was of the Christian faith and knew were he was going. A devout family man always lending a helping hand and a true devoted rock to many. Wonderful father, exceptional brother and personal caregiver to both his parents when they needed him most. Bob loved and played music, enjoyed NASCAR, sports and working on cars. Bob made his living working on cars as an auto body technician his entire life and worked on the side. Bob absolutely cherished and loved family, playing music on his mom's old piano and sitting by a fire. He will be greatly missed by his best friend and only son, Daniel Sterling Kitts, his only sister, Janice Kitts to which he was her rock. Also survived by his three brothers who he loved greatly: Donnie, Jimmy and David Kitts who will live on in his treasured memory.
Preceded in death by parents, Don Francis and Melba Jennilee Kitts; grandparents, Adron and Flossie Kitts, Reece Elizabeth Lyons and Milburn C. Brewer.

Survived by son, Daniel Kitts; brothers, Donnie Kitts, Jimmy and Sandra Kitts, David and Debra Kitts; sister, Janice Kitts. Nieces, Adriana Mayes and Kala Kitts; nephews, Brandon and Penny Kitts, James Dean and Mandelyn Kitts, Randy and Alecia Bates; great-nieces, Aariana Mayes, Nora and Everly Bates. Special mention: many cousins and lots of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2021 with the funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Kenneth Carpenter officiating. Interment 12 Noon Tuesday, Oakland Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet by 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Brandon Kitts, Randy Bates, Jimmy Dean Kitts, Buster Brewer, James "Wedge" Davis, Ray Brewer. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the: Kitts Family Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 26293, Knoxville, TN 37912. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
