Tommy was born December 14, 1954 in Breathitt County Kentucky to the late Elias and Sally Bell (Neace) Mullins.
Tommy was a happy, big hearted person who was loved by all that knew him. He had many interest through-out his life that included fishing, bowling, coon hunting, bluegrass music, building models cars, working puzzles, watching wrestling and TV Land.
Starting with being a part of Austin's Block Watch in the early 1980's to all the time he spent at the Austin Park, Tommy always enjoyed helping others. He spent many hours in the park watching softball tournaments and little league games, helping keep it clean, being a friend to everyone and keeping an eye on everything to make sure the kids were safe.
He is survived by 8 siblings: Bradley Mullins of Urbana, OH, Brenda (Bill) Barger, Barbara (Lonnie) Smith and Joyce Campbell all of Austin, Gearl Dean (Wayne) Williams and Donna (Philip) Moore of Scottsburg IN, Melissa (Brian) Robinson of Deputy and Tim (Patricia) Mullins of Charlestown, IN. He is also survived by 26 nieces and nephews, 35 great-nieces and nephews and 3 great-great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Ralph Campbell, nephew Jason "Scotty" Barger and niece Sandi Campbell.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Pastor Bill Barger officiating.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Monday and after 9 am Tuesday at Buchanan Funeral Home.
Burial will be at New Providence Cemetery Austin, Indiana.
