He was born on July 19, 1935 in Fort Wayne, IN to Edward & Mary (Francis) Burchard.
He owned the former Land of Lakes barn in North Webster, and also owned and operated the Ponderosa Campground.
Dean is survived by his daughter – Debbie (Tom) Spearman of Fort Meyers, FL. 4 sons – Dean (Judy) Burchard of Nort Webster, David (Debbie) Burchard of Warsaw, Edward Burchard of North Webster, and Russell (Tonya) Burchard of North Webster. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and his wife Nancy
