Mae Belle Craig Mason was the daughter of Jewell Taylor and Earl Craig. Mae Belle, or Mickie, as she was known to many of her loved ones, was born on June 22, 1929 and departed this life on June 16, 2021 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by sisters Ruby Moore, Betty Jean Thompson and Barbara Lou Shepard, one brother, Jack Hood, two grandsons, Patrick Mason and Michel McLaughlin, and "the person who loved her the very most", husband John A. (Johnny) Mason, Jr. Mae Belle is survived by sister Shirley Scamardo, brother Bobby Craig and her children: John and Vicki Mason, Mike and Gina Mason, Craig and Charlene Mason, David and Marsha Mason, Karen and Mickey McLaughlin, and Debra Mason, seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren A private family service is to conducted at The National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.
