Craig Palmer, 67, of Conrad, Iowa, died on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at the Grundy Center Hospital.
Craig was born on April 18, 1947, the son of Robert L. and Elizabeth Ann (Rabbitt) Palmer in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. He graduated from Urbandale High School in 1965.
Craig married Carol McDonough on September 23, 1966, in Des Moines, IA. He was self-employed most of his life as a contractor. Craig loved to fish and enjoyed the mountains especially their time in Helena, Montana.
Craig is survived by his wife, Carol; a daughter, Christine (Ron) Izzo of Boston, Massachusetts; a son, Chad Palmer of Conrad; six grandchildren; a sister, Dianne (Gene) Keller of Denton, Texas; and a brother, Douglas Palmer of Loveland, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Crystal Palmer.
