Brian F. Hatcher, 34, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes on June 16, 2021.

He was born in Des Moines on July 22, 1986, the son of Marcia Corsbie and Douglas Hatcher.

Brian graduated from Urbandale High School in 2006. He was very active in Boy Scouts of America, earning rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement attainable in the Scouts program.

Brian enjoyed camping, indoor gardening, LED lights, and long walks.
He was also an avid fan of video games, electronics, and the internet.

Brian is survived by his mother and step-father, Marcia (Steve) Poli; aunts, Linda O'Morrow and Pamela (Buzz) Walton; as well as his cousins, Patrick (Alexis) Walton, Ian (Ashley) Walton, Jimmy O'Morrow, and Krystal O'Morrow.

He was preceded in death by his father, Doug Hatcher; paternal grandparents, Rodney and Florence Hatcher, and his maternal grandparents, John and Patricia Corsbie.

Services will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. in Des Moines. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the service to follow at 12 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Brian.
