Mr. Paul Cantrell age 83 of Smithville, TN passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at his home.
Paul was born on April 28, 1938 in Smithville, TN to his parents, the late Jesse Cantrell & Lillie Farless Derting.
Also preceding him in death was his brother, Glenn Cantrell.
Paul was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and a small engine mechanic. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served as the local Veterans Affairs officer for over 40 years. He was a Mason, a Shriner and he served on the DeKalb Telephone Cooperative Board of Directors for many years.
The family of Mr. Paul Cantrell has chosen direct cremation. No services are planned at this time.
Survivors include his 2 Daughters, Amy (Bruce) Curtis of Smithville, TN & Sabrina St. John of McMinnville, TN. 4 Grandchildren, Julia Curtis & Kealah Pelfrey of Smithville, TN and Jamie & Tyler Judge both of McMinnville, TN. 4 Great Grandchildren. 2 Brothers, Lewis (Peggy) Cantrell of Smithville, TN & Ralph (Debbie) Cantrell of Wyoming. Sister, Helen (Robert) Yeghiavan of Pulaski, TN. Sister-in-law, Donna Cantrell of California. Several Nieces, Nephews and a Special Friend, Lori Johnson also survive.
