David Duane Boyd, age 86 of Battlefield, passed away June 13, 2021.
He was born March 19, 1935 in Agency, Iowa, the son of Ernest and Osa Luella (Creamer) Boyd.
On October 9, 1960, David was united in marriage to DeEtta "Darlene" Doran.
David worked as a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking and wood crafts, building furniture and collecting antiques. He attended Maranatha Chapel in Ozark.
Survivors include: his wife, Darlene of Battlefield; children, Rachel of Springfield, Mark and wife Sherri of Little Rock, Mary of Battlefield, Thomas of Springfield, Jeremiah of Springfield,; grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Marvin; and a sister, Sandra.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 25, 2021 at Maranatha Chapel, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery, Springfield.
Visitation will be immediately preceded the funeral from 9-10 A.M. at Maranatha Chapel.
