It is with great sadness that the Elrod family announces on Thursday, June 3, 2021, Jerry Elrod, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 66 surrounded by his family. He was a longtime resident of Phoenix, AZ. Jerry was married to the love of his life, Nancy, who he married at age 21. They have one child, Jason, who was the light of Jerry's life. Jerry was preceded in death by his father Mike, his mother Mettie, and his sister Linda. He is survived by his wife Nancy, his son Jason (Lauren), and grandchildren Noelle, Bentley and Quentin, two sisters Denelda and Patti (Dave), sister-in-law Cindy and many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 10877 N. 77th Ave., Peoria, AZ 85345. Graveside services to follow 11:30 AM Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301.
