Ronnie Harold Noel, 72, of Country Lane Road, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Granville Medical Center. Born in Vance County on September 10, 1948, he was the son of the late Harold Paul Noel and Lucy Newman Noel. He was a retired manager from J.C. Penny and currently employed at WIZS. Ronnie was an active member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder, a choir member and Sunday School superintendent. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church by Rev. Bob Inskeep. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Hobgood Noel of the home; his son, Raymond Noel and wife, Michelle of Stem; his grandson, Blake Noel; and cousins, Kay Barrier and Jane Renn. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at St. Andrews Presbyterian and at other times at the home of Raymond and Michelle Noel, 3504 West Thollie Green Road, Stem, NC 27581. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Barrier, Dennis Renn, Doug Jordan, Tommy Hobgood, Irvin Robinson, Steven Foster and Danny Robinson. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 100 Hicksboro Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
