Steve Wright was born to Sally and Henry Wright in June of 1962.

Growing up in the Hills of Southern Ohio, Steve built memories with his brothers Joe and Case. Moving to Houston with his sister Paula Parrish in the summer of 1980, Steve began his new Texas life.

It was there he met his wife, Christine Wright. Steve proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a CorpsMan. He was very proud of the 2 children they had together, Caitie and Tim Wright. He began his career with Whirlwind Steel Building at the age of 18 as a draftsman and over a span of 40 years, he became V.P. of Information Services.

Building a wealth of happy memories, being a father was what brought the most joy to Steve's life until he felt the excitement of seeing his first grandson, Ezzy, come into the world. On Christmas of 2020 Steve was saddened by the loss of his younger brother Joe Wright. Like a good brother, he was with Joe all the way to the end.

Then on June 12th, his entire family was saddened when Steve was called home to be with God. His family will have a Memorial Service at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland TX on Saturday, June 19th at 2:00.

In Lieu of flowers, Steve's family would appreciate a donation in Steve's name to Texas EquuSearch.
