Christina Reid Owen, age 17, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away on June 6, 2021. Christina was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 10, 2003. She was a ray of sunshine to all she met. She made it a priority to lift up others and help in any way she could. Her fellow classmates shared that she was always the first to make friends with new students and loved making her peers laugh. Growing up she looked forward to going on family vacations, where she built sandcastles alongside her sisters. Christina was quite adventurous with her passion for kayaking, hiking & fishing. She cherished spending time with her grandparents, playing basketball with friends, riding in the semi with her dad and above all spending time with her family. Christina will be greatly missed as a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and cousin. She is survived by her parents, Chris and Kellie Owen; siblings, Jaymin Elam (Katie Manning), Jacque Owen, Allie Owen and Lilly Ketron; grandparents, William (Leah) Owen of Springfield, OH, Teri Owen of Longview, WA, John (Tina) Wilson of Plainfield, IN, Frank (Donna) Barnes of Indianapolis, IN, Phil (d) and Mary Pence of Camden, OH and Cindy Petty of Eaton, OH; nephew and niece Finn and Arya; special aunt and uncle Dawn Wilson and Jordan Mahaney; and many other aunts & uncles & cousins. Friends and family will be received on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of Celebration of Christina's Life at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Interment will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. As we reflect upon Christina's life – we remember what a blessing she was to this world and how deeply she will be missed.
