Mrs. Sharp was a 1949 graduate of Michigantown High School and a lifelong Clinton County resident. She was a cook for Clinton Central Elementary and Michigantown schools for 34 years, retiring in 1992.
She was a member of Michigantown Methodist Church and its Women's Society, serving as its president for eight years. She was a former member of Beard Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
She was born April 6, 1931, in Clinton County to Roscoe and Dorotha Johnson Eads. She married James A. Sharp on May 12, 1950, in Michigantown, and he survives in Frankfort.
Also surviving are one son, Stephen A. of Elwood; two brothers, Kenneth (Phyllis) Eads of Bloomington and Donald (Karen) Eads of Frankfort; one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
One sister, Evelyn Huffer, preceded her in death.
