David Baker, age 62, of Russellville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at his home.

He was born September 28, 1958, in Russellville to Charles Edward and Betty Lois Reid Baker.

He enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He was of the Pentecostal faith, a retired carpenter, and at one time a boxer.

He loved reading Louis L'amour books and a recent hobby of growing plants.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Baker; his mother; a son and daughter-in-law, Nathaniel Charles and Samantha Baker; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tamara and Bryan Wyatt, and Rachel and Charley Standridge; two sisters and brother-in-law, Vickie and Terry Lunningham, and Julia Baker; five grandchildren, Kari White, Jacob and Ethan McKellar, and Kylie and Asher Baker; several nieces and nephews; along with other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the Shinn Chapel with Bro. Earl Helton officiating. Burial will be in Tate Cemetery near Appleton and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

An open visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., to 4:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Nathaniel and Reid Baker, Terry Lunningham, Jacob and Ethan McKellar, and Aaron Avery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bryan Wyatt and Charley Standridge.
