Mr. Dallas Wayne Wilson, 85, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, in the comfort of his home.

Dallas entered this life on June 18, 1935, in Anderson, Missouri, son of the late Clifford Clint and Edith Hill (McGuire) Wilson. He was a lifelong area resident and a 1954 graduate of Anderson High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army serving as a Tank Commander in Germany. Following his honorable discharge, Dallas returned home to Anderson and on September 3, 1960, he was united in marriage to Roseanne Alley and to this union two children were born, Cameron and Dalanne. For over twenty-five years he was employed by Copper Communities in Northwest Arkansas, retiring as Field Superintendent. After his retirement, Dallas became certified as a hospice volunteer, which he dearly loved. He was a longtime member and Deacon of Patterson Heights Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of thirty-nine years, Roseanne Wilson on October 10, 1999; and five siblings, Pete, Ralph, Bernice, Nellie and Leta Mae.

Dallas is survived by his two children, Cameron Wilson and wife, Angela, of Noel and Dalanne Wilson of Joplin; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2021, at Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson with Bro. Fred Mills officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Cameron Wilson, Justin Wilson, Jake Wilson, Jonathan Rosenbohm and Jaysen Rosenbohm. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
