Ronald P. Pierce, age 79, of Council Bluffs passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

He was born on November 9, 1941 in Newton, Iowa to the late Park and Norma (McKeever) Pierce. Ronald graduated from Drake University. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant for Headstart for 15 years retiring in 2017. Ronald was a member of New Horizon Presbyterian Church; Treasurer for Pottawattamie County Democrats; Director of Habitat for Humanity; CPA Association; Council Bluffs Fish and Game Club; Lake Manawa Sailing Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Randy Pierce; sister Roxann Pierce.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Pierce of Council Bluffs; son Paul and Kimberly Pierce of Prairie City, Iowa; Daughters, Phyllis Pierce of Urbandale, Iowa; Jacquelyn and Doug Dales of Bellevue, NE.; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; stepson, Shawn and Elizabeth Howell of Schuyler, NE.; stepdaughter, Lisa and Bob Derham of Valencia, CA.

Memorial Service on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:00AM at New Horizon Presbyterian Church 30 Valley View Drive in Council Bluffs. Family will direct memorials.
