Brenda Lee Hawkins, 70 passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 12, 2021.

She was born April 9, 1951 in Ballinger, Texas.

She was a long-time resident of San Angelo, TX and Rockport-Fulton, TX. She was an amazing Mother, Sister, MeMe and Friend to many. Her smile and laugh will always be remembered by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson "Pud" Wright and Dixie Rae Holley Wright; sister, Laura Ann Wright; husband, JW Hawkins.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Brandee Woodall (Robert); brother, Dennis Holley; grandchildren, Dixie Caddell (Brandon), Darrick Hanley; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held.

When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand; the angel said my place was ready, in Heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But when I walked through Heaven's Gates, I felt so much at home, for God looked down, smiled at me, and told me "Welcome Home," so when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.
