David, passed peacefully at home after a courageous battle against cancer on June 3rd.

He is survived by his wife and best friend Pam Rhodes of 28 years; veteran sons, Michael David and Mitchel Lee (Stacey); four Granddaughters Emmie, Adelyn, Ariana and ClaireBear; nieces, Lyndsey, Kassidy and Tori.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Janet and brother, Jeff Rhodes. His Family was the most important part of his life.

David loved to go up north camping. He rode dirt bikes and motorcycles his entire life. He also enjoyed to go for long country drives in his big red truck. He especially enjoyed the peace and serenity of just being outside. He was a simple man and was loved by all who had the opportunity to know him. He will be sadly missed but the memories he made will last an eternity. No longer by our side, but Forever in our hearts. Fly High.

A private family service will be held. Memorial contributions in David's name may be given to Karmanos Cancer Institute – McLaren Great Lansing, Lansing, Michigan
