Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He retired from Howe Fire Apparatus.
Jerry was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 174.
He is survived by his sisters, Sonja Kay Land, Martha Fox, and Joan Bryan; and special friend and caregiver, Mindi Hodson.
Jerry was preceded in death his parents; siblings, Gilbert "Jr." Goodnight, Lester Gene Goodnight, Patty Rouse, Otis Goodnight, Kenny Goodnight, and Frieda West.
Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Don Billey officiating.
