Jerry Lee Goodnight, 80, of Anderson, passed away on May 23, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 8, 1941, in Tipton, the son of Gilbert and Ruth (Day) Goodnight.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He retired from Howe Fire Apparatus.
Jerry was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 174.
He is survived by his sisters, Sonja Kay Land, Martha Fox, and Joan Bryan; and special friend and caregiver, Mindi Hodson.
Jerry was preceded in death his parents; siblings, Gilbert "Jr." Goodnight, Lester Gene Goodnight, Patty Rouse, Otis Goodnight, Kenny Goodnight, and Frieda West.
Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Don Billey officiating.
