Darren Andrew Moore, 35 of Linden, Conn., passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
He was born in Niskayuna on November 25, 1985, and was the son of Deborah Williams Moore of Clifton Park and Lyndon H. (Elizabeth) Moore II of Waynesboro, Va.
He was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School, Class of 2004 and attended H.V.C.C. school of broadcasting and communication.
He was a Marine Corps veteran having served honorably from 2008 - 2013. He served in the Persian Gulf and in Afghanistan.
Darren was the beloved husband of Melissa Tina Velez Moore; and the devoted father of Cayla J. and Leah A. Moore. He was the brother of Lyndon H. Moore, III of Beavertown, Ore.; and son-in-law of Jaime and Milagros Velez of Halfmoon.
Darren was an I.T. analyst for the Met Life Co. in North Greenbush and was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Ushers.
His greatest time was spent with family and playing all kind of games with his girls.
Interment with full military honors will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
