Melvin Harris, 71, passed away on June 12, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Vance County to the late Otha and Mary Baskett Harris.

A graveside service wiill be held at 11am, Friday, June 18, 2021 at Mitchell MBC. There will be no public viewing.

His survivors include his wife, Annie S. Harris; his children, Melvin Harris, Jr., Cora Terry, Arthur Simes, Lance Simes, Orlando Solomon, Fred Ford, Michael Harris and Alexis Harris; 20 Grandchildren and 6 Great - Grandchildren.
