Donny Joe Roberts, age 61 of Purcell, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. Donny was born December 16, 1959 in Watonga, OK, the 2nd of 4 children born to Milton Ray Roberts and Karen Ann (Snow) Roberts. He was raised primarily in the Enid area, and attended school in Chisolm, graduating with the Longhorn Class of 1977. Out of high school, Donny worked in the oil field for a few years, before taking a job with McCoy Tree Trimming. Donny's life would change forever, when by chance he met a young lady named Sandra Kim Sandoval. They were both attending a wedding, and it wasn't long before they became a couple. On August 19, 1989, Donny and Kim were married in Stillwater. They first made their home in Truth & Consequences, New Mexico. Some years later, they returned to Oklahoma, settling in Edmond. As their grandchildren were getting older, Donny and Kim moved to Purcell, to be closer to family, and to see their grandchildren more often. For the last 10 years, Donny has worked as an apprenticed electrician for Bliss Electric. When he wasn't working, he was probably chasing his grandkids in their various activities and sporting events. He was a die-hard OU Sooner fan, and loved a good NASCAR race. Donny cherished Sandra, his children and grandchildren, and he will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: his grandson, Joshua Hague in 2017; father Milton Roberts and brother, Denny Roberts.

Donny is survived by: his wife, Kim of the home; mother, Karen Everton of Edmond; Children, Derrick and Kendra Dobbins of Purcell; Damian Reinhold and Lesie Hague of Purcell and Tanisha Robison of Moore; Brother, Danny Roberts and wife Susie of Allen, TX; sister, Dedra Shulz and husband Dennis of Edmond; 7 grandchildren, Summer Ward and husband Tyler, Kayla Reinhold, Alex Hague, Brayden Reinhold, Deaken Dobbins, Kyleigh Reinhold and Keeley Dobbins; 1 great grandson, Zayne Ward and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 21, 2021, at Little's Chapel, Wilson-Little. Interment will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
