Ronald Everett Stephens, age 72, of Mableton passed away June 14, 2021.
Ronald was a proud veteran of the US Army and served a tour in Vietnam. He was very involved in his community and was a member of the Masons and worked with the Challengers little league baseball at Milford. Ronald had many talents including being an ambidextrous baseball pitcher and accordion player. Before his retirement, he served on the Cobb County Department of Transportation – Traffic Signal Division. Above all else, Ronald loved the Lord and loved telling people about Him.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Sarah Stephens; beloved wife, Carolyn Johnson; and brother, David E. Stephens.
He is survived by his step-children, Tammy (husband, Michael) Ross and Stephen (wife, Misty) Johnson; grandchildren, Mariah, Newsome, Aleigha Johnson, Jordan and Aaron Ross; brother, Dennis B. (wife, Debbie) Stephens; and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 19th, 2:00 PM at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens with his brother, Dennis, officiating.
