Funeral service for Mary "Cookie" Harris Grant, age 69 of Bernice, Louisiana were held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Dubach United Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Bernice, Louisiana. Visitation was at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, 5:00 ~ 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 17, 2021. Dr. Howard Douglas Stewart will officiate under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mary was a member of the Dubach United Pentecostal Church and she had retired as a Cosmetologist. Mary was born in Ruston Louisiana.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; Willie McKinley Harris and Margie Ruth Nutt Harris. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Jessica Buffett (Richard) and grandchildren; Keegan and Kesler Wright; Alyssa Moore (Chris) and grandchildren; Channing, Callum, and Cohen Moore. Siblings: Don Harris, Patricia Evans (Roddie), Joyce Aden (Rand) and Ronnie Harris (Vicki) all of Bernice Louisiana. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and Mary's aunt Kathryn Nutt of Bernice, Louisiana.
Pallbearers were Todd Harris, Mike Harris, Brian Harris, Mark Harris, Eric Evans, and Rand Aden. Honorary Pallbearers were Kyle Harris, Jimmy Harris, Jr., Warren Harris, Bill Owens, Scott Aden, Torren Aden, Chad Evans, and Roddie Evans.
