Bedford- Earl Dean Wilson, 73, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his residence.

Born October 27, 1947, in Bedford, he was the son of Alex and Maggie (Morrow) Wilson. He married Carla Diane Bartlett and she survives. He was a retired fork-lift operator for IMCO. He loved gardening, playing with his grandkids, and taking care of his animals.

Survivors include his wife, Carla, of Bedford; children, Gina (Andy) Preston, Lannette (Alex) Mathis, Maggie (Jacob) Pranger, Mandy (Shayne) Hubbard, and Tyler (Josie) Bartlett; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Floyd "Chop" (Brenda) Wilson, Rosie Crane Wright, and Kathy Ramey. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June18th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenneth Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17th, and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday, June 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
