Charles is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy Tinsley; brother, Michael (Nina) Ayers; nieces and nephews, Amy and Bill Tinsley, and Christopher, Angie, Steven and Emerald Ayers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, from 10:00-11:00AM and then graveside services will be held at Noon at Camp Butler National Cemetery where the Inter-Veterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County will conduct Military Honors.
