Frances J. Maliniski, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in McKean, Pa., to the late Ludwik and Alice (Nakoska) Malinski.
Frances was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, an assembler at Erie Technological Products and enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her sisters Julia Malinski, Agnes Brzozowski, Josephine Klandatos, and Stella Brzozowski, brothers Walter Malinski and Stanley Malinski.
Frances will always be remembered by her sister, Teresa Prugar of Parma, Ohio, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all the nieces and nephews and friends at Mercy Terrace who helped Frances over the many years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 E. 12th St., Erie, PA 16503. Prayers will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 9:30 at the funeral home before going to St. Stanislaus Church, 516 E. 13th St., Erie, PA 16503, for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends may attend Mass virtually via Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/Edward-J-Garr-Funeral-Home-Inc-100130284712299/. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Mercy Terrace Apartments, 430 East Grandview Blvd., Erie, PA 16504.
