Ruby Diane Tate Brown, age 62, of Greensboro died Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mrs. Brown was born June 21, 1958 the daughter of Jimmy and Nancy Dill Tate.
Ruby was a homemaker who enjoyed staying at home taking care of her family. She always gave to others, loved God, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ruby enjoyed her T.V. shows, Wheel of Fortune and Let's Make a Deal. Ruby was known for her biscuits, pinto beans and meat loaf.
In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Brown and her son, Jimmy Brown.
Ruby is survived by her children: Angela Ollison (Marvin) of Greensboro, Roger Lee Brown (Theresa) of Coleridge, Jamie Lynn Elkordy (Sam) of Asheboro, Christina Brown (Richard) of Ramseur, Teresa McGuier (Charlie) of Asheboro and Jeremy Brown of Asheboro; 20 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Eva Brewer of Vass and her brother, Jeff Tate (Ruth) of East Bend.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
