Ricky Larry Lee, age 63, of Lumber City, Georgia passed away suddenly at his residence on June 14, 2021. Born in Bacon County to the late Larry Walter Lee and Mary Lucille Cothern Lee on March 9, 1958. He was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and a member of Lumber City Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Patricia Herndon Lee of Lumber City; two daughters, Cherie Lee Courson (Billy) and Shelby Lee Butler (Jake) of Hazlehurst; three grandchildren, Brayden Butler, Josh Briley and Conner Courson; two brothers, Timmy Lee (Denise) and Craig Lee of Lumber City and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. David Deen officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 PM until funeral time. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be; B. J. Courson, Jake Butler, Walker Lee, Jeff Lee, Greg Taylor, Jr. and Josh Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be; USDA Inspectors former Co Workers.
Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
