A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Donald Ray Lee, who survives and the daughter of James Alvis Bayliff and Hattie Thelma Armstrong Bayliff, both deceased. She was the former owner and operator of Johnson Heights Kindergarten and she later retired from Piedmont Natural Gas after 18 years of service. She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham, where she remained very active all through her church life.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Donald Keith Lee and his wife Rhonda, of Mebane; a daughter, Katherine Lee Craven Snodgrass and her husband, Dane, of High Point; her brother, James Douglas Bayliff and his wife, Clara, of Graham and her grandchildren, James Daniel Lee, Payne Michael Craven, Chad Snodgrass and Ian Snodgrass.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Bayliff Whitson and a brother, Henry Foy Bayliff.
