Earl Thomas, age 86, of Clermont, Georgia, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:30 am Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Kevin Woody will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel in Gainesville.

Mr. Thomas was born October 13, 1934 in Gainesville, Georgia. The son of the late O'Connor Thomas and Willie Mae (Henson) Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Sue (Barnes) Thomas.

Mr. Thomas was retired from the United States Postal Service. He served in the United States Air Force for four years. He was the Scout Master for Troop 212. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and his family.
He is survived by his children, Susan Greenway (Fred), Richard Thomas (Carolyn) and Donna Kelley (Steve); grandchildren, Cara Whiting, Sheena Patterson and Kenzie Welch; and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Clark and Mildred Smith; and brothers, Howell B. Thomas and James Thomas.
