Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Sarah Ethel Hunt, 73, of Foxworth, who passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. Interment will be at Lott Cemetery in Foxworth. Bro. Steve Albritton will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home.
Sarah spent most of her life in Marion County. She worked for fifteen plus years at Pioneer Aerospace in Columbia. Sarah enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and she loved her dog, Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Teaman Knight; her Mother, Elizabeth Yvonne Pickard Pounds; two Husbands, Billy Hunt, Ricky Fortner; one Sister, Mildred Jenkins; four Grandchildren, Teaman Powell, Derrick Baughman, Corey Walker, Steven Walker; and three Great Grandchildren, Stella Powell, Brittley Baughman, Steven Downing.
She is survived by three Sons, Tommy Roy Powell (Jamie), of Foxworth, Joey Powell, of Greenville Community, Ricky Fortner, Jr (Lisa), of Columbia; three Daughters, Lela Moody (Mark), of Columbia, Lisa McNabb (Scott), of Columbia, Jennifer Beasley; one Brother, Toby Knight, of Alabama; two Sisters, Mary Ewell, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Joyce Spillman, of Bogalusa, Louisiana; 15 Grandchildren; and 18 Great Grandchildren.
