Apparently daughter of Joseph T. Jarrett and Minnie Tucker, who were married in Russell Co., Ala., on Oct. 3, 1888. Bessie married Meredith Bohler and they were the parents of several children.

Her father died on Jan. 14, 1895 in Columbus, Geo. (burial place not presently known). Her mother married again in Columbus on Oct. 10, 1895 to Henry Francis Everett, a tinsmith by trade. Henry had married previously, on Oct. 20, 1885 in Chatham County, to Georgia A. Ash. They had a son Edward Ash Everett and a daughter Lizzie M. Everett. Georgia died on Mar. 28, 1892 and was buried in the Ash family lot in Laurel Grove Cemetery North in Savannah.

Henry, Minnie, his two children by Georgia, and her three children by Joseph (including Bessie), all appear on in a household on the 1900 census of Ward 5 in Columbus, Geo.
