Gregory Lee Butler, age 54, of Grandy, NC died Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. He was born March 15, 1967 in Norfolk, VA to Alice Louise Brinson Ferrin and the late Sherrill Gregory Butler. He worked with the family's residential cleaning service. He loved the outdoors, especially the Outer Banks and was a dedicated fisherman. He enjoyed time with his family, especially his son and was a doting grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, Alice Louise Ferrin and stepfather, Robert Ferrin, he is survived by his son, Gregory Butler (Kayla) of Hertford; his granddaughter, Ariella Butler; sisters, Melissa Butler and Tracey Rinaudo of Grandy and Sharon Brown (Steve) of FL; brother, Billy Spruill (Earline) of Chesapeake, VA and several nieces and nephews.
