Pamela Sue Harris, devoted mother and prayer warrior extraordinaire, left this world for heaven on June 9, 2021.

Mother was a hopeless optimist. For years, the doctors told her to prepare for imminent death. She refused to listen to them and continued to thrive in her own way. She loved life and simple pleasures. She valiantly battled her long-term illnesses with courage and determination that is seldom seen. Mother was strong like a bull and refused to give up until her Earthly body absolutely demanded it. She practiced the golden rule. Whenever she encountered a person in need, Mother never failed to attempt to console or help them. She loved her family beyond measure and she treasured her grand-children. She ALWAYS showed up whenever her children needed her.

She was born on February 3, 1953, to Joy Harper Harris and Jack Harris, both of whom preceded her in death. Mother is survived by countless friends that she made in Oklahoma City, Holdenville, Wynnewood and on her travels all over the world.

She was one of 9 children, and is survived by all of her siblings- Joan, Walter, Debbie, Diane, Cindy, Patrick, Timothy, and Michael. She is survived by her children- Ronnye, Bobby, and Summer, and grandchildren- Hannah, Willa, Sophie, Henry, and Ari. Although she will be missed sorely, we all celebrate her ascension and look forward to the time we join her in our family circle.

A chapel service for her friends in the OKC area will be held Wednesday, June 16 at 10am at The Hill Church, 2928 Woodlawn Dr, Moore, OK, 73160. A short graveside service will be held at the Leon cemetery in Love county at 3pm.
