Mr. Day was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Kensington. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Adeline, of the home; two daughters, Jeanne and Marjorie; a son, Ed; two sisters, Shirley and Frances; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Clark-Gashaw Mortuary Chapel, Osborne. Burial will be in Osborne Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 7743 and American Legion Post 49, both of Osborne.
